Cityplace Junior Golf
Hank Haney Golf Center @ Cityplace offers several golf development programs, clinics and lessons for junior golfers of any ability level, from ages 6-15. These coed programs introduce kids to the great game of golf, develop solid swing fundamentals and build confidence. Hank Haney Jr. Golf Development programs are dedicated to the overall growth and success of young men and women and most of all encourage a fun experience!
Sunday Clinics
Weekly Sunday Clinics are a fun way to introduce the game of golf to your beginner or to improve skills for the advanced player. With a 6:1 student teacher ratio, your Junior Golfer is insured a solid education in the foundations of the game with a different topic presented each week. Full swing fundamentals are taught in each session and topics include putting, chipping, pitching and sand play.
Classes meet 1 hour every Sunday.

Summer Golf Camps
From the beginner golfer to the advanced player, our day camps are our most popular junior program. These camps are for boys and girls ages 6-15 with a 5:1 student ratio. Each camp is four consecutive days. Instruction on all aspects of the game is provided as well as play on simulated holes. Campers will learn full swing fundamentals, short game, golf course rules and etiquette and much more in a fun and challenging setting. Games and contests each day!
Typical Half-Day Camp Teaching Schedule
- 8:30am - 8:50am – Registration
- 9:00am - 12:00pm - Instruction on full swing, putting, chipping, pitching, and bunker shots.
- 12:00pm Camp adjourns
- 12:00pm - 12:30pm - Instructors available to answer questions and to provide further assistance.
- Cityplace location offers ½ Day Camps - $160.00 per student

Jr. Golf Development Program
This coed program is especially tailored for those golfers with aspirations of moving their game to the next level. Special attention is given to swing development, course management and developing a positive competitive attitude. Mental, physical and technical aspects of the game will be addressed.
Ten hours of weekly instruction is available and includes full swing with video analysis, pitching, chipping, putting, bunkers along with course play and course management strategies. At our Cityplace location the total hours of instruction are less than our other locations due to the absence of a golf course. However, our Director of Instruction, Brian Mahon and Senior Instructor, Doug Alexander will be involved with the students on a weekly basis.
Individual daily curriculum is designed for each golfer.
Open Sessions:
Monday - Friday 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm
Saturdays 9:00 pm – 10:30 am & 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Price $250 per month – 3 month minimum
Junior Private Instruction
If you would like a customized one-on-one lesson for your junior golfer we offer private instruction with our trained and certified Hank Haney instructors. We can personalize a golf program for any level of player. 45 minute lessons are recommended for 11yrs-old and up. Half hour lessons are recommended for most junior golfers under 10 yrs-old and can be scheduled at your convenience.
